Embroidery Collection Method
Our embroideries are made with silk satin and natural silk. Follow these simple precautions when displaying or storing them at home.
Hanging embroidery
- Avoid direct sunlight and strong, high-wattage lighting.
- Keep the artwork away from moisture, and make sure the wall behind it is completely dry.
- Protect the embroidery from corrosive substances.
- When dust collects, wipe only the frame or glass with a dry cloth. Never use a wet cloth, as moisture may seep into the embroidery.
Storing scrolls
For long-term storage, place embroidery scrolls in a dry camphorwood chest. Do not store them with mothballs or other chemical insect repellents.
